IN MY OPINION: Every diver should visit here at least once. The most famous attractions of Palau are big animals (sharks, barracudas, rays, etc) that you can get very close to, and you'll see them at quite a few sites.  The most popular is Blue Corner which consistently has many sharks cruising the wall right in front of you.

Palau has a wide range of diversity of diving. Some examples area unique cave (Chandelier) with crystal clear water, Ulong channel drift for a total kick butt current dive, Saies tunnel, and the Blue Holes.  Palau has many reefs with good to excellent coral growth.  Mostly all dives are drift dives so more experience before going there makes the dives comfortable.

The hundreds of rock islands are stunning, so spend a day or two kayaking for a great change of pace.  I've been diving here since 1975.
