IN MY OPINION: Guam suffers from being in the middle of some of the very best diving in the world, so we tend to use these areas as a benchmark for the diving here. The truth is that Guam diving is 80% better than anywhere else in the world and we get passed by for the "golden pastures" of Micronesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
As a stand alone dive destination Guam has 2-3 days of good diving. For anyone learning to dive Guam is great cause' it can't get much easier. Warm waters, calm seas, and lots of things to see on every dive.
For anyone that wants to get a solid education on marine life Guam is also very good. We have an abundance of corals, particularly in Apra Harbor, an active fish population at most sites, and a wide variety of diving from shipwrecks, to walls, to reefs.
Creature Feature videos. These are short 2min videos designed for teachers to introduce marine life to their students. This is a Guam Marine Awareness Foundation on going project and all are available on a dvd at no charge to any teachers.
